1. Parties and definitions

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern the relationship between PEPTEX, a company registered at 91, rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré, Paris, France (the "Seller", "PEPTEX", "we", "us"), and any natural or legal person who places an order on peptex.shop or through our assisted channels (the "Customer", "you"). By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms in full.

For the purposes of these Terms:

• Website means peptex.shop and any subdomain or alternative domain operated by PEPTEX.
• Products means the peptide chains, consumables and related items listed on the Website.
• Order means a request by the Customer to purchase one or more Products under the conditions stated on the Website at the moment of submission.
• Order Confirmation means the electronic message sent by PEPTEX after payment has been validated.

2. Products

PEPTEX distributes peptide chains and related consumables intended for professional use. The composition, concentration and size of each Product are stated on the corresponding Website page.

Under EU law, the compounds offered by PEPTEX are classified as reference materials for professional use. Product pages, packaging and documentation reflect that legal classification.

The Customer is responsible for assessing the suitability of a Product for their own intended use.

3. Order process

Placing an Order on the Website involves the following steps:

1. Selection of Products and sizes, added to the cart.
2. Provision of contact details (name, email, phone) and shipping address.
3. Selection of a payment method.
4. Validation of the Order and payment.
5. Receipt of the Order Confirmation by email.

The Order Confirmation formalizes the sales contract between PEPTEX and the Customer. Before Order Confirmation, PEPTEX reserves the right to reject an Order in the following cases: suspected fraud, incomplete or inconsistent data, unsupported shipping destination, unavailability of stock, or any situation in which fulfillment of the Order would expose PEPTEX or the Customer to a legal or operational risk. In such cases, any amount already paid is refunded in full to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.

The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of the data provided at Order placement, in particular the shipping address, phone number and email. Delivery failures resulting from inaccurate data are at the Customer's expense.

4. Payment methods

PEPTEX accepts the following payment method:

• Bank card (Visa, Mastercard). Card transactions are processed through a PCI DSS compliant payment service provider using 3D Secure authentication. Card credentials are transmitted directly to the acquirer and are never stored on PEPTEX servers.

All prices on the Website are stated in euros (EUR) and, where applicable, include any tax payable on the Customer side. For cross-border deliveries within the EU, no additional import duties apply.

PEPTEX does not offer cash on delivery, installment plans, deferred payment or partial payment. Full prepayment is required before an Order enters the shipping queue.

5. Pricing, taxes and currency

All prices displayed on the Website are inclusive of any applicable internal VAT and exclusive of shipping. Shipping is computed at checkout and is currently set at 12 EUR per Order, with free shipping applied automatically for Orders totaling €200 to a pickup point or €400 to a home address or more before shipping.

Prices may be updated at any time. The price applicable to an Order is the price displayed at the moment the Order is validated. A price change after Order Confirmation does not affect the price of that Order. Promotional prices and discount codes are valid only within the conditions displayed on the corresponding promotion page.

6. Shipping

PEPTEX ships to the European Union through UPS express. Orders are dispatched within one business day after payment validation. Transit time is typically 5 to 7 business days. Parcels are packaged discreetly, without any external branding or reference to the content. A tracking code is communicated by email as soon as the parcel leaves the warehouse.

7. Returns and refunds

PEPTEX operates a 28-day money-back guarantee. Any Customer may request a return and a refund within 28 days of receipt of the Products, without being required to state a reason. In addition to this general guarantee, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal granted by EU consumer law applies in full to consumer Customers.

8. Intellectual property

The content of the Website, including text, product descriptions, photography, illustrations, logos, trademarks, layouts, source code and databases, is the exclusive property of PEPTEX or its licensors and is protected by French and international intellectual property law.

Any reproduction, representation, translation, adaptation or extraction, whether partial or complete, by any means and on any medium, is prohibited without the prior written authorization of PEPTEX, except for strict personal and non-commercial use by the Customer. Downloading, printing or storing content for purposes other than personal consultation constitutes an infringement.

The PEPTEX name and logo are registered trademarks. Any unauthorized commercial use of these signs is prohibited.

9. Customer obligations

By placing an Order, the Customer undertakes to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information at registration and at Order placement.
• Not use the Website or the Products for any unlawful purpose.
• Not attempt to interfere with the operation of the Website or the security of the payment process.
• Assess independently, and under their own responsibility, the suitability of a Product for their intended professional use.
• Comply with the laws and regulations of their country of residence in connection with the possession and use of the Products.

10. Limitation of liability

PEPTEX fulfills an obligation of means with respect to the information published on the Website. Information relating to products, dosages, protocols, durations and synergies is provided for general reference and does not substitute for an individual professional assessment. PEPTEX is not liable for consequences arising from a use of the Products that is inconsistent with their professional classification or with applicable local law.

PEPTEX is not liable for indirect damages, loss of revenue, loss of opportunity, loss of data, reputational damage or damages incurred by a third party, whether or not such damages were foreseeable at the conclusion of the contract. The aggregate liability of PEPTEX under a given Order is in any case limited to the total amount paid by the Customer for that Order.

The above limitations do not apply to damages arising from gross negligence or willful misconduct, nor to any liability that cannot be limited under mandatory French law.

11. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for a failure to perform its obligations under these Terms if such failure results from a force majeure event within the meaning of Article 1218 of the French Civil Code, including but not limited to: strike, epidemic, pandemic, war, act of terrorism, governmental decision restricting trade or movement, failure of a carrier, failure of a payment processor, or interruption of electronic communications. The affected party notifies the other party without undue delay. If the force majeure event persists beyond 60 days, either party may terminate the contract by written notice, with a full refund of any amount paid and not yet delivered.

12. Data protection

PEPTEX processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and the French Data Protection Act. The complete processing, purposes, legal basis, recipients, retention periods and Customer rights are described in our Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms.

13. Changes to the Terms

PEPTEX may amend these Terms at any time. The version applicable to a given Order is the version published on the Website at the moment the Order is validated. Material changes are communicated by email to registered Customers at least 15 days before entry into force, except in cases where the change results from a legal or regulatory obligation requiring immediate application.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute arising in connection with the formation, execution or termination of a contract concluded under these Terms is submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France, subject to any mandatory jurisdictional rules protecting consumer Customers. Consumer Customers residing in the EU may also use the European online dispute resolution platform available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
