Tesamorelin

Tesamorelin is a peptide that is an analog of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). It stimulates the production of endogenous growth hormone in the pituitary gland and increases insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) levels, influencing fat metabolism and body composition.It contributes to a reduction in visceral fat volume without significant effects on subcutaneous fat tissue. In clinical studies, visceral fat reduction averages about 15–20% over 3–6 months of use. A decrease in waist circumference and improvement in the ratio of fat mass to lean body mass have been observed.It is used daily and stimulates physiological growth hormone secretion without permanently increasing its levels. It may contribute to improvement of the lipid profile, including reductions in triglycerides and total cholesterol levels, as well as support normal blood glucose levels.
