Most peptides are administered subcutaneously - into the fat layer under the skin. This is a simple and low-pain method that is easy to master. What you will need:
Insulin syringe (U-100, 29-31G needle)
Vial with dissolved peptide
Alcohol wipes
Clean handsWash your hands with soap
Wipe the vial cap with an alcohol wipe, let it dry
Draw air into the syringe equal to the required dose volume
Insert the needle into the vial, release the air - this makes it easier to draw the solution
Turn the vial upside down, slowly pull the plunger to the required mark
Remove air bubbles by tapping the syringe lightly and pushing them out
Choose an injection site: abdomen (2-5 cm from the navel), thigh or deltoid, there is enough fat layer there
Wipe the injection site with an alcohol wipe, let it dry
Pinch the skin into a small fold with your fingers
Insert the needle at a 45° angle (with a thin fat layer) or 90° (with sufficient fat layer)
Slowly press the plunger all the way down
Remove the needle, lightly press the injection site with a wipe - do not rubWhat not to do?
❌ Inject in the same spot every time - rotate zones
❌ Rub the injection site after the injection
❌ Reuse the syringe
❌ Inject into inflamed or damaged skin
❌ Inject cold solution straight from the refrigerator - let the vial warm up to room temperature
